Cancellation Policy — Plugin Subscriptions

Introduction and Scope

This Cancellation Policy applies to subscription products sold by DemeWebsolutions.com (an MY DEME, LLC company) on our websites, including plugin subscriptions, software subscriptions, and other recurring digital services (collectively, “Subscriptions”). This policy supplements and should be read together with our Refund and Returns Policy and our Terms & Conditions. Local consumer protection laws may provide you with additional rights; where those laws apply, they remain in effect.

Agreement to Policy

By purchasing a Subscription from us, you agree to this Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase the Subscription and discontinue use of the Site.

Free Trial Period

  • We may offer a free trial period for certain Subscriptions. When a free trial is offered, the length of the trial will be clearly stated on the product page. Unless otherwise stated, the standard trial period is fourteen (14) days.
  • During the free trial you will have access to the features described for that trial. At the end of the trial period, your Subscription will automatically convert to a paid Subscription and the payment method on file will be charged for the first billing period.
  • To avoid being charged, you must cancel the Subscription before the trial period expires. Cancellation during the free trial will prevent the first recurring charge (provided the cancellation is processed before the trial end time).
  • If you sign up for a trial and your payment method is charged in error, contact us promptly — we will review the transaction and handle any eligible refund requests in accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable law.

How to Cancel

To cancel a Subscription, you may:

  • Use your account dashboard or subscription management page on the Site (if available) and follow the cancellation steps; or
  • Contact us by email at info@mydeme.com or via our support channels and request cancellation.

When contacting us to cancel, please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used for the purchase
  • The order number or transaction ID (if available)
  • The name of the Subscription or product

Processing Time

  • Cancellation requests are typically processed within 48 business hours of receipt. You will receive an email confirmation once cancellation is completed.
  • Canceling a Subscription stops future recurring charges. It does not automatically issue a refund unless otherwise stated below.

Effect on Access and Service

  • For paid Subscriptions, canceling will prevent future renewals, but your access (including downloads, license keys, updates, and support) will generally continue until the end of the current paid billing period.
  • For free trials, canceling before the trial end date will prevent the first charge and the trial will typically expire at the trial end time.
  • If we terminate or suspend a Subscription for breach of our Terms of Use, you may lose access immediately and we will determine refunds (if any) in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

Billing, Renewals, and Refunds

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly, annually, or other term) unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • We bill using the payment method on file. You authorize us to charge that payment method for recurring charges.
  • Unless required by law or expressly provided below, we generally do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods. The Subscription remains active until the end of the prepaid term.
  • Refunds for Subscriptions are handled as described in the Refund and Returns Policy. Because Subscriptions are digital goods, refunds are limited.
  • We may, at our discretion, offer prorated refunds, credits, or other remedies for Subscription cancellations under special circumstances (e.g., serious technical defects). All such decisions are subject to verification.
  • If you cancel during a free trial and we have not yet charged your payment method, you will not be charged. If you were charged in error, contact support for review and possible refund.

Chargebacks and Disputes

  • If you dispute a charge with your payment provider, we will investigate and may provide evidence of the transaction or correspondence.
  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in termination of services and additional fees. Contact us first to resolve billing disputes.

Cancellation by Us

  • We reserve the right to cancel or suspend Subscriptions for any reason (including suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of Terms of Use). If canceled for reasons other than breach, we may issue a prorated refund or credit.
  • We are not liable for interruptions or losses resulting from permitted cancellations or suspensions.

License, Updates, and Support after Cancellation

  • When a Subscription includes a software license, that license’s terms apply after cancellation. Access to updates, downloads, and support typically ends at the conclusion of the paid term.
  • If your license is for a single site or includes time-limited privileges, those privileges terminate according to the license terms after cancellation or expiry.

Account and Data Retention

  • After cancellation, we may retain account information as described in our Privacy Policy for legal or fraud prevention purposes.
  • If you request account deletion, follow our deletion procedure or contact support. Note that deletion may make license or entitlement restoration impossible.

International Taxes and Fees

  • Prices and billing may include taxes as required by law. Refunds and charges may be adjusted accordingly in line with tax rules and our Refund and Returns Policy.

Support and Before Requesting a Cancellation or Refund

  • If you experience issues with a Subscription (installation, compatibility, licensing, etc.), please contact us before requesting cancellation or refund. Most issues can be resolved.

Changes to This Cancellation Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Subscriptions after changes constitutes acceptance. Local consumer protection laws will prevail if they grant greater rights.

Legal Rights

This Cancellation Policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable local consumer protection laws. Where such laws grant additional rights (e.g., cooling-off periods), those rights remain in force.
